Homework Assignment

1) Write a special tribute* for Emmanuel -- something that praises him both for his speech and for what he is as a person. Write it with care. Make it at least an 8-sentence paragraph, and something he will truly enjoy looking at and reading on the "9th Grade Speech" bulletin board. Print it out and bring it to class tomorrow. No wrinkles allowed. 

*tribute: a statement that is intended to show gratitude, respect, and/or admiration 

2) Schyler: Show me your speech by Wednesday.
