TODAY'S LESSON AND HOMEWORK
Theme for the Year: CONNECTIONS
be sure to thank someone
for helping us have a good English class.
Homework Assignment
1. Write one chunk (3 sentences each) about an idea you have for our final writing project of the year. What topic would be a good one to end our year with -- a topic that would be both challenging and enjoyable? It would have to be a 5-paragraph essay, using 11-sentence body paragraphs, but otherwise ... think out of the box.
2. Write a tribute for Kara -- 8 sentences, and carefully and beautifully written. Print a copy and bring it to class tomorrow.
