TODAY'S LESSON AND HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT
Today we listened to "Desperado" by The Eagles, and then we discussed the new essay assignment, which is based on the song. We also listened to some more of A Raisin in the Sun, and discussed it as it connected to the song. With time left, we discussed the meaning of the writing tool called "polysyndeton".
Homework for tonight:
1) Make a careful graphic organizer for the 3rd essay. Bring in a hard copy tomorrow.
2) Write the first body paragraph (11 sentences) of the essay, and post it on Googledocs. Be sure to invite your parents and me to both comment and edit.
